The hilly California site posed a challenge, so we maximized it with a creative basement that peeks through the slope and allows for a usable yard above. The site meets strict water efficient landscaping standards and is drought-tolerant while remaining elegant and aromatic year-round in the mild climate.
An underground 6-car garage equipped with EV charging stations, solar-ready electric systems, and high efficiency construction all helped achieve the client’s desire to go beyond rigorous state energy standards.
